Frequently Asked Questions

Dietary requirements
All our cakes contain gluten, eggs, milk and dairy products and the cakes are prepared in our home kitchen where we use nuts and we cannot ensure that there are no traces of nuts in our cakes and bakes, and may not be safe to be consumed by people who may suffer from allergies.
 


Cake prices
Our cakes are bespoke and the prices will depend on the size and decorations; please see the flavours and prices page and fill in the enquiry form for a quote.




Placing order and deposits
Most of the cake orders should be placed at least 10-14 days in advance.

For small bakes 7 days in advance.

For tier cakes 4 weeks in advance.

The upfront deposit of 50% non-refundable need to be paid when the order is placed. 

In case of cancellation the deposit is non-refundable.

Fondant Cakes
We work only with fresh buttercream.
Most of the cakes are covered with Swiss Meringue Buttercream.

 

Delivery
We do collection mostly and deliver only locally for free. Other deliveries incur an extra charge depending on the distance.

 

Designs
Most of the cakes are unique and we do not copy a design but you can send us an example and we can create something beautiful for you.

 

Cake tastings
For tier wedding and engagement cakes we do offer tastings and can be ordered in form of cake slices or cupcakes.

 

How to store and transport the cake
Transport your cake carefully on a flat surface such as the foot well or the boot of your car and drive carefully with the air conditioning on in hot weather and heating low or off in cold weather.


Cakes are best consumed within 3 days and cupcakes within 2 days. Prior to serving the cake it should be stored in room temperature for 3-4 hours. Remove any internal support & non-edible items before serving the cake.
